Empty a bag of fresh saurkraut in a pot and cover with water. Cook on the stove for 30 minutes. Rinse and discard all water. Melt one stick of butter in a pot. Add 2 to 3 onions (or 1/2 cup dehydrated onion.) Add a whole can of butter beans. Salt & pepper generously. Add the saurkraut. Add enough water to coat the saurkraut mixture. Add slices of Polish Sausage. Cook for about 20 to 30 minutes on top of stove. Serve with buttered bow-tie noodles.
