Cre’me Royal ala Michel



While visiting my nephew, Michael, for “coffee and” this afternoon he served a beautiful dessert. It was perfect for late afternoon, around 5:00 p.m. Here is how he prepared it:

He smeared two pieces of white bread with cream cheese and combined them like a sandwich.
Then he cut the sandwich in quarters.
He dipped each quarter in a beaten egg mixture and fried each piece in butter!

Serve on a pretty plate and top with blueberries. (Michael zapped the blueberries in the microwave for flavor and juice.) He sprinkled his creation with powder sugar and a dollop of sour cream mixed with powder sugar (to taste).
