3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 large egg yolks, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 lb. butter
1 cup sour cream
Sift flour and then add salt & sugar in a large bowl. Work butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal. Beat yolks until light then blend them with sour cream. Add to first mixture. Chill dough in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll out half of dough at a time to about 1/2 inch thickness. Use floured cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in 350 oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. Decorate when cool.
